The wait was worth it: the gardeners have been
There is great news! Anyone who visits us regularly knows: our heated outdoor pool was already completed last summer. But since we were right in the middle of peak summer, planting was out of the question – in the heat, nothing really takes root. I am all the more pleased to present our big to you today Outdoor area update to imagine.
This year in May we finally started work on completing the garden layout. For the professional implementation, we enlisted the experts from EFS Horticulture brought on board from Lenningen. And the result is really something to be proud of!
Locally typical plants and lush green
The Garden design around the pool area was a true labour of love. It wasn't just about scattering a bit of green. We sowed fresh grass seed and in places laid turf directly to create a dense area quickly. When it came to the plants, we deliberately chose native species that fit our region perfectly.
These serve several purposes simultaneously: they act as a natural privacy screen, secure the small slopes around the water and, of course, ensure a wonderful aesthetic. Thus, the new blends Garden area by the hotel pool blends seamlessly into the landscape.
A place for absolute peace and quiet
The pool area has now become a truly unique place in our house. When you relax by the water, you have an unobstructed view of the greenery and right to the edge of the forest. Here you will find precisely the peace and relaxation that make you forget about everyday life instantly.
The best part? Our pool is open for you all year round. Whether you visit us in the height of summer or the depths of winter. During the cold season, we heat the water to a cosy 30°C, while in summer it provides a wonderful refreshment at around 26°C. There is hardly anything better than diving straight into the water after an extensive hike or a bike ride on the Swabian Alb.
