In the heart of the Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve
In our 22 cosy hotel rooms, you will find the perfect retreat for your stay on the Swabian Alb. Each room is stylishly furnished and offers you all the comfort you need to feel at home, featuring comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, as well as a seating area and a desk. Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available throughout the building.
However, the real highlight for your relaxation awaits right outside the door: as our guest, our 14×5-metre heated outdoor pool and our Finnish sauna (90°) are available for you to use free of charge during daily opening hours. To make this holiday feeling complete, almost all of our rooms also feature a balcony with a direct view of the greenery – ideal for breathing in the peace and quiet of nature to the full.
Some of our rooms are accessible by lift. Just let us know when planning your stay so that we can reserve the right room for your needs!
The hotel
In 2016 we bought what is now our Landhotel Winter and instantly fell in love with the wonderful location: situated on the outskirts of Gomadingen-Offenhausen, in the heart of the Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve, and surrounded by this gorgeous landscape of meadows with ancient orchards, dense forests and gentle hills, the hotel is the ideal starting point for excursions into nature – a little paradise.
Over recent years, we have continually worked to make our vision of a small hotel with a big heart a reality: the hotel rooms have been refurbished and modernised, and our dining area has also been comprehensively renovated. In front of the restaurant, our large terrace offers culinary enjoyment with a view, and right by the hotel, our new wellness area with a large, heated outdoor pool and freshly renovated sauna area has been inviting guests to relax since spring 2025.
Between restful nights and varied days, our generous and well-balanced breakfast buffet ensures a cheerful start to the morning – focusing on variety and regional ingredients.
gourmet guest house
For stays of two nights or more, you can add our gourmet half-board package to your stay here at the Landhotel Winter. In the evening, we serve a 3-course menu from our kitchen, where you always have the choice between a vegetarian dish or a meat or fish option for the main course. This can be easily booked via our online booking tool as part of your room reservation.
From the very first night, we provide holiday guests with the AlbCard free of charge.
