Good Friday
A.M. Good Friday you can expect a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with us to kick off the Easter weekend. On this day, we are traditionally focusing on a modern fish and vegetarian menu that brings spring to the plate. For those who do not want to go without meat, we will also be offering a few fine meat dishes.
You choose your favourites entirely flexibly à la carte off. We are opening as early as 11:30 and serving hot food continuously until 20:00. Whether for an extended lunch, a well-deserved break after a spring walk, or a cosy dinner – our kitchen is there for you all day long.
As Good Friday is traditionally a very popular day for outings and visits to restaurants, we recommend booking early to guarantee your table with us.

Lunch & Evening at a Glance
The Easter holidays are the perfect time to fully enjoy the awakening of spring on the Swabian Alb. At the Winter restaurant and country hotel, we have devised a schedule for Easter Sunday and Easter Monday that gives you complete freedom to sit back, relax and celebrate time together with your family.
At lunchtime: 4 courses - a mix of set menu & buffet
Between 11:30 and 15:00 we invite you to our special 4-course meal. You decide how to begin according to your own preferences at our varied starter buffet. Afterwards, we serve you a soup. For the main course you have the choice of four modern dishes, freshly prepared for you, before our diverse dessert buffet invites you to a sweet finish. Take all the time in the world for these festive hours – we accept the last reservation for our lunchtime service at 13:30.
In the evening: Relaxed à la carte
As evening twilight falls, from 17:30 we switch to classic à la carte service. Here, you can then expect our regular dishes from the menu. Whether you are dropping in after a long spring walk or want to wind down the bank holiday in a peaceful atmosphere with your family – our kitchen prepares hot dishes for you continuously until 20:00.
We recommend booking well in advance for both lunch and dinner so that we can guarantee your table.
An important note regarding your table reservation and cancellation for the Easter holidays:
We stand for fresh and honest cuisine. For our kitchen team, this means meticulous planning and genuine craftsmanship beforehand. The vegetables are carefully peeled and prepared, fresh fish and cuts of meat are filleted and trimmed by hand and specially purchased for the Easter holidays, and the pasta is made in-house rather than bought in bulk. Only through this level of effort can we bring the exact quality to your plate that you are accustomed to from the Winter restaurant and country hotel.
To be able to guarantee this freshness to the letter, we ask for your understanding regarding our cancellation policy. You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 7 days in advance. After that, our purchasing is tailored and calculated based on the number of guests, and the elaborate preparations in the kitchen are already underway. Spontaneous cancellations result in direct financial loss for us, which is why we must charge the full price of the menu from this point onwards. Should this be the case, we will be more than happy to pack your menu to take away. We do, however, have to exclude the dessert from this, as it tends to run away.
