Following the great success of our premiere, „High Five“ is back for a second round!
There are moments we at the Landhotel Winter have been looking forward to for a long time – the 6th and 7th February 2026 will be part of it. On these evenings, our rustic wine cellar becomes the setting for a culinary experience that we have designed for you with a great deal of passion.
We are delighted to have our long-standing partners from the Kress winery in Überlingen with us. Bring the lightness of Lake Constance straight to Offenhausen: Viola Kress and her team bring the carefree flair of the lake to life on our wintry Alb.
This is what your evening looks like:
You start the evening with a fine aperitif from the Kress winery. Afterwards, our kitchen team will take you on a 5-course journey, introduced by a sophisticated amuse-bouche.
With each course, Viola Kress's team will serve you the perfectly matched wine. The special highlight: the winemakers will be there in person all evening. Hear exciting stories firsthand about the winery, the philosophy behind the vines, and the secrets of Lake Constance wines.
So that the pleasure lasts beyond the evening: in our Kress Corner we offer you the opportunity to buy your favourite wines from the tasting directly and take them home with you.
The package: "High Five + overnight stay"
Turn your evening into a real timeout. We've put together a package that combines indulgence and relaxation – with no time pressure.
- The event evening: Participation in the "High Five" menu including aperitif, 5-course menu, wine pairing, water and presentation by Viola Kress & team.
- Arrive earlier: Early check-in on the day of arrival (from 12 noon). Start the day relaxed.
- Wellness: Complimentary use of our heated outdoor pool and sauna area – ideal for unwinding before dinner.
- Accommodation: 1 night (20% discount on each additional night) in our cosy rooms
- The next morning: Rich breakfast buffet until 10:00 with fresh baked goods from the Albkorn bakery Glocker and regional specialities.
- Stay longer: late check-out until 12:00 – so you can use the pool & sauna once more.
- Discover: The AlbCard is included (free admission to over 180 sights such as thermal baths, castles & museums).

The wine evening takes place on Friday 06.02.26 and on Saturday 07.02.26. You have the choice between both evenings.
Renewal bonus: Want to make the most of the weekend? On every extension night (before or after) you will receive 20% discount towards the further overnight stay.

Following the success of our first ‚High Five‘ event, anticipation is high. As capacity in our wine cellar is limited, we recommend booking early to ensure you can experience this special evening at the Landhotel Winter.
We put a lot of heart and soul into the preparation of our High Five event. Should something come up after all, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to 7 days before the date. Please understand that after this time we will have to charge the full price. Since we allocate the spaces in our wine cellar and hotel on a fixed basis, we are usually unable to refill the registrations at such short notice.
