High Five enters its second round!
Following the great success of our premiere last year, we didn't have to think twice: our event highlight High five return! On 6th and 7th February 2026 let's turn our rustic wine cellar back into a place where culinary craftsmanship meets true winemaking passion.
The concept remains as simple as it is brilliant: 5 courses, 5 wines – and plenty of stories.
Our guest: The Kress winery from Überlingen
For this special evening, we have once again enlisted reinforcement from Lake Constance. We are thrilled that Viola Kress and her team are making the journey from Überlingen to join us on the wintry Alb.
Weingut Kress is a partner that fits our philosophy perfectly. Deeply rooted in the region for generations, the family-run business stands for wines with character and soul. The vines grow on striking molasse soils, shaped by the mild climate and the light reflections of Lake Constance. The result? Wines with a very special finesse and a clear fruitiness that transport the light-hearted lifestyle of the south straight into the glass.
Whether their sensitive Pinot Blanc or their characterful Pinot Noir – the wines of Kress tell the story of their origin. And it is precisely these stories that Viola brings personally to our wine cellar.
This is what your evening looks like with us
The evening starts very relaxed with a fine aperitif from the Kress winery. Afterwards, we take you on a culinary journey: our kitchen team has created a sophisticated 5-course menu (including an amuse-bouche beforehand, of course) that perfectly showcases our modern German cuisine.
With every course, Viola Kress's team serves the matching wine. What makes „High Five“ special: the winemakers are right there among us all evening. You'll learn firsthand all about the philosophy behind the vines and the little secrets of Lake Constance wines.
A little extra for at home: in our „Kress Corner“ you can purchase your favourites from the evening directly and take a little holiday feeling home with you.

If you want to spend the evening without checking the clock and without a journey home, we’ve put together a suitable package for you. Turn it into a short break on the Alb:
Pure relaxation: Make use of our heated 14x5m outdoor pool or our Finnish sauna from as early as midday (early check-in).
The event: Attendance at the complete „High Five“ evening including all wines and water.

Lie-in After a night in our cosy rooms, a generous breakfast with fresh baked goods from the Albkorn bakery Glocker awaits you – and thanks to late check-out, you can unwind by the pool all morning at your leisure.
